I have thrown awaybags that are brand new, clothes that I never worn, shoes/heels that I only wore once/twice.
I deposited my clothes and bags into the recycle bin and left other stuffs in trash disposal area.
I feel really bad with my act, but I can't afford to keep them cause our house don't have extra room for them.
So who to blame? Me...
I wasted my money, feel really bad..
Next time I must ask myself the above question...
Today we received a letter from HDB, and they just want to tell us HDB has decided to proceed with the construction of our flat. They will invite us to sign the Agreement for Lease and pay the down payment in due course.
HDB is taking so much time to process the application. The flat selection is closed on mid of august!!
I have no idea when are they going to invite us to HDB to sign the agreement of lease. Mr Koh's friend booked a flat in May, and they haven't sign the agreement yet.
My colleague signed the agreement on May, and he told me the tender is not close yet.
The BTO project (Dec 2009) behind my block is still an empty field.
Anyway, the whole process usually take more than a year before the construction starts the work:
1. Submit our application - March 2010
2. Receive our queue number - May 2010
3. Select our flat - July 2010
4. Sign the agreement - Date unknown
5. Constructor to submit tender - Date unknown
6. Tender close - Date unknown
7. Award the tender - Date unknown
8. Constructor to start work - Date unknown
9. Constructor deliver project - Date unknown
10. Collect key -April 2015
11. Renovation - Date Unknown
It is Sept now, and we just received the letter saying they finally decided to start the project.
Seriously, HDB needs to speed up the whole process!
Mr Koh and I are invited to HDB to select our flat @ Sembawang Riverlodge.
Finally we can own something.
Because of our queue number, my 1st choice are all taken up, we can only choose those left over units =(
However, I notice there is a particular unit not receiving much attention from buyers, I guess is because of the unit number (09-395), there are two sets of '9' in the numbers and chinese don't really like '9'.
So we decided to select this unit.
